A double bass house, a place of inspiration,
sharing of ideas and energies
Alberto Bocini is double bass teacher at the Haute école de musique de Genève (Geneva HEM).
Principal double bassist for 5 years with the Orchestra Nazionale dell’Accademia di Santa Cecilia (Rome) and for 15 years with the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (Florence).
In 2012 he left the orchestra to devote himself more intensely to the chamber, soloist, teaching and composition for his instrument. His intense and passionate activity led him to perform in Europe, United States, Canada, Japan, South America; recording for Denon, Velut Luna, NBB Records.
NBB Records is a brand/label dedicated to the Double Bass world and founded by Alberto Bocini with the aim of enhancing and expanding the double bass literature, through the creation of the dedicated internet portal.
