From 29 July to 4 August 2019 in Biarritz, France, will take place the International Bass Academy, artistic director Thierry Barbé.
Teachers involved: Thierry Barbé, Cédric Carlier, Nicolas Crosse, Ján Prievoznik, Edmond Cheng, Marc Buronfosse, Ján Krigovský, Bea Marin.
On August 4th (at the end of the course) will be possible to partecipate in the “Edouard Nanny” Competition, divided in three categories: Mini-Bass – Recital – Orchestra
The ABCDF (Bassists Association and Contrabassists de France) will give a certificate for the two top prizes in mini-bass competition, and, as regards the recital and orchestra competition, 400 euros to each of the two first prize and 200 euros to each of the two second prize.
The competition is open only to students of the course at no extra cost.
The closing of entries for the competition is fixed at July 15th 2019, and at May 20th for the Bass International Academy Course.
